Is it normal to only be hungry at only specific times each day?

I only eat a small amount of breakfast because otherwise I feel unwell and full - this also happens at lunch and recess at school - I have a bite of an apple I feel full. I don't drink a large amount or chew much gum. But the real problem is when I get home from school I want to eat everything there is possible to eat. So I end up feeling awful and then eat the average amount of dinner. I try to eat like others but I end up vomiting or feeling really sick - so could you please tell me what's up with that? I have no idea...
