Would Boston, in October 2009, trade Josh Beckett back to Florida for Hanley Ramirez straight up?

I doubt it is. Beckett it one of the only true aces left in the AL who is a workhorse who works hard, and still being young and one of the best pitchers in the AL, trading him for a guy who is amazing, when they already have a dangerous lineup, and up and comer shortstops, wouldn't be there top priority.
