A level chemistry Experiment, what should I do?

do an experiment on fuels. i like cars too. i always wonder how fuels differ thermally. you could choose to study methanol, gasoline, ehtanol, and diesel fuel. methanol is dangerous and can burn the skin. you can get a little cylinder and put a drop of the fule inside and ignite it and see if the cylinder rises or something. or you could see which one gives the most heat per drop. i stress the small quatity of "drops" for safety.
