Evolution is a religion!?

By definition, one criteria for something to be clified as religion is that it guarantees salvation. Evolution doesn’t. So hence, evolution isn't a religion. But of course, you can always change the definition of what a religion means to fit your purpose...so in the end, i think it's pointless to go down this argument unless we can first decide on what a religion should be.
