Bleh. Complicated day. Advice?

Well. On the weekend i asked my friend to ask this guy what he would say if i asked him out, and she said she'll do it on monday. but today @ recess i saidi dont want you to do it anymore and she said ok, then @ lunch i said to her that iwas still not sure bout it, then abit later she asked him what he would say andhe said no, and then my other friends told him it was a joke and he knew it wasnt. grr , should i stop liking him or what should i do?
